All Galeria Varnishes are uniquely removable with Acrylic Varnish Remover, allowing the painting to be cleaned and re-varnished in the future. Thinly painted acrylic films may be varnished after 24 hours drying time. Up to a week of drying time should be allowed for heavy or impasto layers before varnishing. Varnishes may be intermixed for a variety of finishes.
To avoid air bubbles in the film, varnishes should not be shaken or aggressively stirred. Varnishes should be applied evenly and quickly with a soft brush. Over-brushing can result in the creation of small bubbles and clouding within the dried film.
